
YOUTH CLASSICS Swiss International Music Academy
July 15th - 24th, 2022
The Swiss International Music Academy is intended for talented and advanced musicians aiming to study music as well as for music university students. The course content includes advanced engagement with technical and musical subjects, interpretation of works and/or preparation for competitions, exams and auditions. Participants should be challenged at both a musical and personal level.

During the Swiss International Music Academy, all participants live on the Musikinsel Rheinau campus.

Tuition fee
All prices per person.
Every student who is accepted to the academy 2022 receives a full scholarship for the course fee. The fee includes only room and board (double- or multi- bed room, 3 meals a day)
Costs for room & board SIMA 2022, departure on July 24th, 2022, directly after the final concert: CHF 890.- or Euro 820.-
Costs for room & board SIMA 2022, departure on July 25th, 2022, after breakfast:
CHF 980.- or Euro 890.-
(Violinists pay an additional fee of CHF 100.- / Euro 100.- for additional viola lessons and participation in the workshop "Voilà Viola")
Application fee: CHF 100.- or Euro 100.-
Applications without bank receipt proving the payment of the application fee will not be processed.
The application fee will be subtracted from the total costs. In case the applicant does not receive a place at the SIMA 2022 due to too many applications, the application fee will be paid back. In case the participant cancels his/her participation, the application fee can not be refunded.
Family members:
Participants under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parents/adult siblings who accompany participants pay CHF 95 or EUR 90 per night and per person for a double room with full board.
Due to limited number of rooms, parents of participants older than 12 years can not be accommodated on the Musikinsel Rheinau during the SIMA. Information about accommodation possibilities near to the Musikinsel can be found at: www.booking.com, www.hotels.com or www.hrs.com.
All prices are per person and include statutory value added tax applicable at the headquarters of YOUTH CLASSICS.

Registration
Please send us a DVD or a YouTube link with the registration form.
There are no compulsory pieces for this recording. We recommend 2-3 works of different caracter and style.
Applicants, whom the preferred teacher has already guaranteed a place at SIMA 2022 do not need to send any recording.
All the applications will be viewed after the registration deadline (May 15, 2022).
Usually, at least 300 candidates apply for around 100 places at the SIMA. Applicants will latest be informed by June 1st, 2022 about the allocation of study places at the Academy 2022.
